The FPA CT-Fairfield County Chapter continues to look for opportunities for advisors who are new to our profession to learn from their peers and will be hosting a FREE NexGen+ After Hours event on Wednesday, August 18th, 5:30pm to 7:00pm at Brother Jimmy's Barbeque in Stamford. After a half hour of networking, we'll dive right into the program.
Scott Mansfield, Vice president and Senior Advisor Consultant with Franklin Templeton Distributors, Inc., will be our guest speaker on the fascinating subject of "Mastering First Impressions," a skill that perhaps not many advisors think about when meeting potential new clients or peers.
Scott's presentation will hit on three main points:
• The science of first impressions
• Managing zero-second impressions
• Polishing your presence
When it comes to first impressions, the way we see ourselves is often not the way others see us. At the end of this session, you will walk away with more confidence about how you present yourself and your business.
