Please join us for our Journal of Financial Planning Discussion Group on Wednesday, January 30, 5:30pm to 7:00pm, in Norwalk. Location TBA. The discussion will be moderated by our Chapter President, Charlie Rocco.
The Journal of Financial Planning is the best publication in our industry to learn about new and updated techniques in financial planning. The articles range from simple to extremely complex and warrant peer discussion after reading. All FPA members receive a free subscription to the Journal as a benefit for belonging to the association.
The goal of the JFP Discussion Group is to enhance understanding of content in the Journal, discuss how we may implement planning thoughts in our own businesses, and have some fun and stimulating conversation.
Here are the articles published in the Journal's January issue that will be discussed:
• Proactive IRA Planning Strategies after Tax Reform – p.30
• Retirement Income Literacy: A Key to Sustainable Retirement Planning – p.36
• 2018 Personal Finance Year in Review – p.46
If you would like to participate, please email your RSVP to our Chapter Executive Lori Somerville at Fairfield@FPACT.org by Monday, January 28.
We sincerely hope you will join us on January 30th!
