Daniel L. Daniels is a partner in Wiggin and Dana's Private Client Services Department and a member of the firm's Executive Committee. He divides his time between the firm's Greenwich and New York offices. Dan focuses his practice representing business owners, private equity and hedge fund founders, family offices, corporate executives and other wealthy individuals and their families.
Dan has been included on Worth magazine's list of the top 100 trust lawyers in the United States. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. The Best Lawyers in America guidebook has recognized Dan as the “2016 Lawyer of the Year” in the area of Trusts and Estates for the Stamford region. Dan received his A.B., summa cum laude, from Dartmouth and his J.D., cum laude from Harvard Law School.
Dan is a co-author of Trusts and Estates Legal Strategies (2008 Aspatore Books) and has written for various publications, including Trusts and Estates magazine, Estate Planning magazine, Practical Tax Strategies magazine, the National Law Journal and Exempt Organization Review. He also has been quoted on trust and tax-related subjects in the Wall Street Journal, Kiplinger's Personal Finance and Financial Planning. Dan is a current or former member of the board of various organizations including the Greenwich Library and the Fairfield County Community
Foundation.
Dan has a particular interest in working with owners of family- and closely held businesses. He worked for several years in his own family's third generation family business. He is a member of the Family Firm Institute and Attorneys for Family Held Enterprises, as well as Wiggin and Dana's Closely Held Business Practice Group.

William R. Fleming is a Managing Director in the Personal Financial Services division of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in the Hartford and Boston offices. Bill has been providing financial planning advice since 1979, first as a principal of Ayco Corporation (previously a division of American Express). He joined PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in 1987.
His financial planning clients include prominent or retired executives at Fortune 500 companies as well as start-up (pre-IPO) companies. In addition, Bill provides succession planning to the owners of smaller businesses as well as sophisticated plans for wealthy individuals.
Bill is an attorney licensed in both Massachusetts and Pennsylvania. He was previously licensed to sell life insurance and all types of investments (including real estate tax shelters, annuities, mutual funds, as well as stocks and bonds). He is a member of numerous professional organizations relating to estate and financial planning and has Certified Financial Planner and Accredited Estate Planner designations. Bill has been both an instructor for professional education programs and is a seminar leader for company wide financial, retirement planning, and stock option strategy seminars as well as individual financial planning for corporate executives. He has co-authored several PricewaterhouseCoopers publications dealing with life insurance and estate planning.
He regularly appeared on CNBC's Money Club and other CNBC programs. He has also appeared on Wall Street Journal Reports and CNN, has contributed to the Bottom Line financial newsletter, Business Week, Fortune, The Practical Accountant, the AARP newsletter, and many local newspapers.
David T. Leibell is a partner in the Trusts and Estates Department in the firm’s Stamford office. His focus practice areas include representing private clients, along with business succession and charitable planning.
David is a frequent lecturer to lawyer and nonlawyer audiences throughout the United States and has authored many articles on charitable, estate and tax planning. David has a monthly column on charitable giving for Trusts and Estates Magazine.
David has been quoted in numerous publications, including The New York Times, BusinessWeek and BloombergWealth Manager and has appeared on CNBC’s “Closing Bell with Maria Bartiromo.” David serves as the Chairperson of the Philanthropy Committee for Trusts and Estates Magazine and is listed in the Best Lawyers in America.
David received a B.A. from Trinity College, a J.D. from Fordham Law School and an LL.M. in taxation from New York University. David is admitted to practice in New York and Connecticut.
Bob Veres is editor and publisher of the Inside Information interactive guide to trends and innovations in the profession, and contributing editor and columnist for Financial Planning magazine. As a journalist, he has won several national awards, including the Jesse H. Neal Award from the American Business Media group, considered the most prestigious editorial honor in the field of specialized journalism, and the Azbee Award of Excellence from the American Society of Business Press Editors. Over his 30-year career in the financial services world,

Mr. Veres has been named one of the most influential people in the financial planning profession by Investment Advisor magazine and Financial Planning magazine, was granted the Special Achievement Award for service to the profession by the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors, and the Heart of Financial Planning Distinguished Service Award from the Denver-based Financial Planning Association.
